PCAHA Referee Assigning Centre Opening Date.

The PCAHA Referee Assigning Centre is responsible for assigning on-ice officials for all exhibition, league, and playoff games for Bantam "A", Bantam Female, all Midget, and all Juvenile games played within the PCAHA. Assignment is undertaken by 14 Zone Assigners, each of whom has responsibility for a group of local arenas or teams.

Please be advised that the Referee Assigning Centre will open for the 2009-2010 season on Tuesday, September 8, 2009.

Any exhibition games scheduled prior to September 8th should be assigned by the Association Referee-in-Chief, not by team officials of the participating teams. The Referee Assigning Centre will provide grading lists to Association Referee-in-Chiefs upon request.

For all games scheduled for September 8th and subsequently, the normal procedure for notifying the Referee Assigning Centre will apply. Teams must contact their PCAHA League Manager to obtain an exhibition game number. The League Manager will then advise the Referee Assigning Centre of the game at least 72 hours prior to the game. League Managers for Bantam and above are aware of this procedure.
