PCAHA League Managers

Call for Applications - PCAHA League Managers.

The PCAHA Managing Directors are presently in the process of appointing League Managers for the 2009-2010 season for their respective divisions and categories.

League Managers are the people responsible for day-to-day operation of the PCAHA’s Minor Hockey leagues under the direction of the Managing Directors. Their duties are as follows:

Duties:
1) Act as a communications and resource person for the Coaches and Managers of the teams in their league.
2) Maintain league standings (Atom and above).
3) Maintain team and individual penalty records.
4) Issue exhibition game numbers.
5) Issue tournament permission numbers.
6) Supervise playoffs (Atom and above).
7) Report to the Managing Director on all matters of concern.

In general, this position requires people skills, responsibility, and attention to detail. An extensive background in hockey organization is not a prerequisite and suitable training will be provided. Some computer skills are required as most record-keeping is done using the PCAHA’s on-line game data management system, Teamlink.
